Bard College Swim Clinic

The Bard College Department of Athletics and Recreation will sponsor a developmental swim program and springboard diving clinic for boys and girls, ages 6 to 16, beginning Saturday, March 8, 2008. This program, under the direction of Fred Schultz, Nancy Rifenburg and additional experienced instructors, will meet each Saturday for 8 weeks from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. in the Stevenson Pool through

May 3, 2008.  There will be no session on March 22.

The cost of the program will be $35.00 per individual. A family discount of 10% will be given for each additional child in the same household.

Children of all levels will be able to learn and/or improve their stroke techniques, starts, turns and body positions. This is not a learn-to-swim program. Each swimmer should have basic swimming skills and be able to demonstrate competency in the water (younger ages should be able to swim a minimum of 5 yards on their own). Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. outside the pool area on March 8th.

Pre-Registration is not required.
