Swim Club

THE BARD SWIM CLUB BEGINS ANOTHER SEASON.  Come join Coach Fred Schultz for another season of structured swim work-outs, wild water polo and great parties (catered by his culinary chef son).  The Bard Swim Club is open to all Bard students, faculty, staff and gym members (18 & older) FREE OF CHARGE.  Practices begin on Wednesday, September 3, and continue every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:30-5:30 p.m.  Pre-registration is not requred - just show up on the deck ready to swim!  The last session of this season will be May 22.

Children's Learn-to-Swim Program

This program is designed for children learning to swim.  The lessons are formatted into three 1/2 hour time slots for Beginners, Intermediate Beginners and Advanced Beginners. We also offer a Parent-Tot program.  Please click on the link below for further information regarding this program.

Youth Swim Clinic

The Swim Clinic is for children ages 6-16 who can swim a minimum of 5 yards on their own.  This is not a Learn-To-Swim Program.  Please click on the link below for further information regarding this program.

LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION CLASSES

These classes include lifeguarding, first aid and CPR for the professional rescuer. Two options are available:

May 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17

June 28 - July 2

Highschool: Bay Shore
Latiqua WIlliams achieved a rare quadruple-double in a game against the College of New Rochelle, a first for the Bard Women's Basketball Program and only the eighth woman in NCAA history to record this feat. Williams scored 21 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, recorded 11 steals and dished out 10 assists to complete the record setting performance.
